Celia Dymond

Art. Creativity. It's in all of us.

In contrast to my professional life where risk is dangerous, work can be fast, ambiguous and complex. I can be expected to be across dozens of projects, with complex art practice quite literally the opposite.

Slow. Analogue. Risk

It can take literally decades for an image piece to manifest. And then I'm not certain of the restult.
With studies in design and photography, my art practice is mostly traditional methods yet in unconventional ways.

I work in camera, on film (analogue) with no digital or computer manipulation.

Permitting risk to create a forced error. Intentional. The intent is to create a slow and evocative image that reflects and respects my subject.

Current studies

My current practice explores the interaction and the connection humans have with lands end; where the seascape commences; where terra connects with the ocean and where a human foot stands at the edge of land.
