Celia Dymond

The Yin and the Yang. It's in most of us.  In contrast to my professional life where; the pace is so fast, the need is demanding and immediate, and the audience is everyone, and some days I feel as though my brain will explode
if it's asked to solve another complex creative problem... my art practice quite literally the opposite.

Slow. Analogue.

It can take literally decades for an image piece to manifest.
With studies in design and photography, I mostly work in traditional methods yet in unconventional ways.

I work in camera, (analogue) with no digital or computer manipulation.

It involves respecting risk to create a forced error. The intent is to create a beautiful and evocative image.

My current practice explores the interaction and the connection humans have with lands end; where the seascape commences; where terra connects with the ocean and where a human foot stands at the edge of land.
