Wye River

Another road trip along Great Ocean Road. There is something about the rock formations along the Great Ocean Road. The years of consistent surf, swells that help shape this incredible coastline. So tempting on a sunny calm summery days, yet treacherous on others. I filmed with 120 format. circa 1992 aged stock.

Armed with a pinhole camera and a spirit level that I use to get my horizons level. Long exposures with my gear planted in the sand, allowing the tide to rush up and over the lens.

All of this work is in camera. There is no photoshop manipulation or digital post production work done to the images.

A selection of this series will be printed and presented as 100cmx100cm. From this series, Rock, was shortlisted for the the Ravenswood Art Prize and exhibited in Sydney.
